History
In 1975, a group of army officers initiated the idea of creating a permanent settlement in the area. In July 1977, the first 25 families settled in the area and built the first houses. At that time, there was no electricity, no roads, no telephone lines in the area. On August 15, 1977, an official moshav ceremony was held, followed by the launch of an electric generator, which was attended by representatives of the government and the Jewish Agency. About a year later, another 10 families arrived in the moshav, and the population reached 35 families.
