Igor Levich Simonov ( April 23, 1951 , Moscow ) is a Russian writer, playwright and professional manager. Laureate of the Grand Prix of the Texture festival for the play Hero's Choice [1] .

Biography
Igor Simonov was born in 1951. He received a mathematical education at the University of Friendship of Peoples. Patrice Lumumba , after which he served in the army, ending his service with the rank of junior sergeant. Simonov taught mathematics at the Moscow Architectural Institute for a long time. In 1992, he received a diploma from the Manchester Business School. From 1991 to 2008, he worked at Xerox , where for many years he was the CEO of Xerox Eurasia. From 2009 to 2013 - the head of the Media Partner holding, engaged in advertising and publishing. From 2013 to 2017, Simonov was chairman of the board of directors of the Mikhailov & Partners group of companies.
Simonov has repeatedly been included in the lists of the best top managers in Russia [2] . This did not stop him from realizing in the literary field. At the moment, his novels “Sentenced”, “Danger Level”, “Year of the Marketer”, “Inevitability of Lies” and the collection of short stories “Mondiale” have been published. “Sentenced” entered the top 20 novels in 2007 [3] . At the Praktika Theater, for 6 seasons, Simonov’s first play, Celestials, was premiered, and in 2009 the premiere of his other play, The Girl and the Revolutionary, took place. In April 2012, the Polytheater presented the premiere of the playwright’s new play, Hero's Choice [4] . In June 2014, the premiere of the play "Inquiry" [5] took place at the Praktika Theater.
Igor Simonov has five children: 3 daughters and 2 sons. The eldest son, Andrei, was born in 1976, and the youngest, Nikita, in 1990. Daughters Anna and Elizabeth were born in 1999. Pauline's daughter - in 2013.
