Title
On the river Pasha on which the village stands. In its turn, the name of the river came from Karelian Pakshayoki , where Paksha is thick, strong, strong, yoki is a river [2] .
History

According to the statistics on the national economy of the Novoladozhsky district of 1891, the estate in the village of Pashsky Perevoz with an area of 2253 tithes belonged to the merchant V. A. Isakov, the estate was acquired in 1869 for 11 368 rubles [4] .
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Domozhirovsky volost of the 3rd camp of the Novoladozhsky district of the St. Petersburg province .
According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, in the village of Pashsky Perevoz there were: a postal and telegraph office and a flat [5] .
In 1917, the village of Pashsky Perevoz was part of the Domozhirovsky volost of the Novoladozhsky district. From 1917 to 1923, the village was part of the Besson village council of Pasha volost [6] .
In 1918, the Pasha timber industry enterprise and the Pasha alloy office were established in Pash Perevoz.
In 1920, a representative agricultural commune was created in Pash Perevoz [7] .
Since 1923, as part of the Ruchyansky Village Council of Volkhov County .
Since 1924, as part of the Pasha Village Council.
Since 1926, as part of the Dubensky Village Council. According to the 1926 census, the population of the village was 150 people [8] .
On August 1, 1927, simultaneously with the formation of the Leningrad Region, the Pash district was formed with a district center in the village of Pash Perevoz . [6] .
In 1930 - the newspaper “Pash collective farmer” began to appear. It was published until December 1955. I went out once every ten days.
According to 1933, the village of Pashskiy Perevoz was the administrative center of the Pash village council of the Pash region, which included 19 settlements: the villages of Balandina, Bessonovo, Bendeevshchina, Isaevo, Kara, Kashina, Kornilovshchina, Medvedevo, Pavlovskoye, Paporotno, Priluki, Rezanovshchina, Rochevshchino, Ruchey , Semenovschina, Usteevo, Ust-Rybizhna, Kashin farm and the village of Pashsky Perevoz , with a total population of 2673 people [9] .
According to 1936, the Pash Village Council included 20 settlements, 596 households and 11 collective farms, the administrative center was the village of Bendevinshchina [10] .
The Pash district was abolished by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of December 14, 1955. Since 1955, as part of the Novoladozhsky district .
In 1961, the population of the village of Pashsky Perevoz was 2127 people.
Since 1963, as part of the Volkhov district [6] .
By the decision of the Leningrad Executive Committee of February 5, 1971, the villages of Medashkovo and Bessonovo were annexed to the village of Pashsky Perevoz .
According to administrative data of 1973, the central estate of the Pashsky state farm was located in the village [11] .
By the decision of the Leningrad Executive Committee of June 7, 1976, the settlements of the village of Pashsky Perevoz and the village at the Pasha station were merged into the village of Pasha [7] .
According to 1990 data, 2654 people lived in the village of Pasha . The village was also the administrative center of the Pash Village Council, which included 25 settlements: the villages of Balandino, Bereg, Vishnyakov Posad, Ievkovo, Isaevo, Karpino, Knyazevo, Manikhino, Medvezhya Kara, Nadkopanya, Nasonovo, Oktyabrskaya Liberty, Sandstone, Podberezhye, Puchini , Ryazanovschina, Sonino, Old Power, Tomilino, Usteevo, Yashkino; Lesozavod village; village at the Ievkovo station; Pasha village, with a total population of 4725 people [12] .
On September 6, 2004, in accordance with the law of the Leningrad Region No. 55-oz [13] , the territory of the abolished village of Lesozavod was included in the village.
In 1997, 3129 people lived in the village of Pasha, Pash volost, in 2002 - 2660 people (Russians - 96%) [14] [15] .
In 2007, in the village of Pasha of the Pash joint venture - 3840, in 2010 - 3701 people [16] [17] .
Geography
The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the Pasha River, at the intersection of its Kola M18 highway ( E 105 ).
The roads 41K-193 (Pasha - Zagubye ) and 41K-021 (Pasha - Chasovenskoye - Kayvaksa ) begin in the village.
There is a Pasha railway station in the village.
The distance to the district center is 80 km [12] .
