At the same time, the artist continued to work on his favorite theme - epics , fairy tales , folk motifs. He created: a set of decanters with piles “Ruslan and Lyudmila” (Porcelain and majolica. 1966. The porcelain version was produced at the Lomonosov Leningrad Porcelain Factory , including for export), wall sculptures “ Ruslan and Lyudmila ”(Porcelain and Majolica. 1960s), gift set of decanters“ Vasilisa the Beautiful and Ivan Tsarevich ”(Porcelain. 1963—1969 (?)), Gift set of decanters“ Vasilisa the Beautiful and Ivan Tsarevich ”( The second option: Porcelain (1970), the coffee pot Ruslan, defeating Chernomor, on the theme of the Pushkin tale “Ruslan and Lyud silt "(Form" Yaroslavna ". Set of carafes "Ruslan and Lyudmila". 1966 Maiolica.

In 1966, in search of a generalized image of the heroine of Slavic epics and fairy tales, B. D. Bystrushkin created the decanter “Matryoshka”. The cleanliness of the form gave room for the fantasy of Bystrushkin the painter. There are three variants of the author's painting of the decanter. One of them, “Maiden with buckets”, painted with icing on biscuit. This is a unique technique that requires skill and special hardness from the artist. When performing it is extremely important to achieve a uniform and thin line from the glaze throughout the entire pattern. The slightest inaccuracy can erase multi-day hard work. The ornament from glaze is added with blue salt, buckets - with gilding. Two other versions of the author's painting - this is a decanter “Red sundress” (porcelain, selenium, gilding, tsirovka) - was exhibited at the Autumn Exhibition of Leningrad artists (Leningrad. 1967), produced by the plant for many decades, and a decanter of blue porcelain, painted in the "pate-sur-pate" technique with gilding. The “Matryoshka” form attracted other artists. Known mural artists of the Leningrad Porcelain Factory them. M. V. Lomonosov (LFZ) L. F. Orlova with a flower ornament and painting under the name "Frantiha" by T. N. Bezpalova-Mikhaleva. The artist's dress “Frantiha” adorned with her favorite flowers - unfading roses.

Since 1964, in parallel with the work in china, began the creative period of the artist with majolica. In 1964-1972, the artist traveled on creative missions to the Slantsy majolica plant (Slantsy, Leningrad Region), where he studied the technology of majolica production. Created a large number of products for Slantsy majolica plant (Slantsy, Leningrad region). In the works of B. D. Bystrushkin of majolica, the softness of the lines, the subtle relief decor, the richness of the forms and the multicolor of colors were combined. The unique works of majolica created by him are functional, and by their color and variety they bring a unique note to the interior, keeping the artist’s hand in mass products.

In 1971, the Art Council of the Leningrad Porcelain Factory. MV Lomonosov (LFZ) approved on the "Excellent" form and watering the service "Tea" (experimental work). Majolica.
