Biography

Natalia Kolyakanova in 1978 graduated from the Irkutsk Theater School . She played in the Irkutsk Drama Theater . N.P. Okhlopkova, Irina (“Three Sisters” by A. Chekhov), Shurochka Azarov (“Once upon a time” by A. Gladkov), Sapozhnikov (“Blue Horses on the Red Grass” by M. Shatrov), Ariadne (“The Capercaillie’s Nest” V . Rozova), Asya (“Memories ...”), Nicole (“The Crazy Jourdain” by M. Bulgakov).

The actress moved to Moscow and entered GITIS on the correspondence course to Mark Zakharov . After the first session, Zakharov passed the course to Anatoly Vasiliev . While still studying at GITIS, she began working in the theater " School of Dramatic Art " under the direction of Anatoly Vasiliev. Soon she became the leading actress of this theater, playing the heroines of Dostoevsky, Moliere, Pirandello, Pushkin, Nadenka in the play “Serso” based on the play by Victor Slavkin . In 1993, she received a diploma from a drama director (acting and directing workshop of Anatoly Vasiliev). She took part in the international projects of the Theater of Dramatic Art theater: “I am the Seagull” according to A. Chekhov (Italy), “Vis-a-vis” according to F. Dostoevsky (Berlin-92), “Each in his own way” (Rome -93), The Iliad of Homer (Japan-97). She staged plays in Germany and Italy, conducted master classes. In 1998, she left the theater of Anatoly Vasiliev [1] .

In 1999, she played the role of Dali-Gala in the enthralled performance of Yuri Grymov “Dali” [2] .

In 2001, at the “ Theater of Nations ” she played the role of Arkadina in the play “The Experience of Mastering the Play“ The Seagull ”by the Stanislavsky System” (directed by Andrei Zholdak ) [3] .

Natalia Kolyakanova acted in films a lot. First appeared on the screen in 1983 in the episode of the film " Kindergarten ", where she was invited by director Evgeny Yevtushenko , who saw Natalia in the performance of the Irkutsk Theater. Fame came after the role of Christina in the film by Pavel Lungin " Taxi Blues ." The film was nominated for the Golden Palm Branch of the Cannes Film Festival in 1990 [4] . Later, the actress starred in four more films of Lungin: “ Wedding ”, “ Oligarch ”, “ Poor Relatives ”, “ Queen of Spades ”. The film "Wedding" received a special jury prize "For the Best Acting Ensemble" at the Cannes Film Festival in 2000 [5] .
