The total area is 2598 km². It includes the north of Ivankovsky and Polessky district of Kiev region , as well as part of the Zhytomyr region .

It is managed by a unit of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine - the State Department - the Administration of the Exclusion Zone and the Zone of Unconditional (Mandatory) Resettlement.

In this list, all abandoned settlements located in the Chernobyl exclusion zone are presented in alphabetical order. The list contains information on higher administrative units [1] , distance to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, population [2] , place of population evacuation, general information.
