Rocket Racer is the pseudonym for two fictional characters in the comic book series published by Marvel Comics . The first Missile Racer was created by Lane Wayne and Ross Andrew and first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man # 172 (September 1977). The identity of the antihero was revealed in Spectacular Spider-Man # 104.

Fictional Biography
Robert Farrell
Robert Farrell was born in Brooklyn , a district of New York, in a family with a mother and seven brothers and sisters. When his mother died, he could not feed his family and built a rocket skateboard . He became a robber and soon met Spider-Man [2] . Later, he turned to the villain Tinkerer so that he could improve his skateboard for money, and he could fight Spider on an equal footing. But soon another villain appeared - Bigville (Jackson Wil). Spider-Man and the Rocket Racer defeated him together - the villain fell into the water and drowned [3] . He entered the Institute of Empire State University [4] . After he joined the team of the Exiles (a team of reclaimed supervillains) [5] . He teamed up with Spider-Man against skinheads [6] , as well as the Silver Saber against Speed Demon [7] . As a member of the Exiles, he fought with the Moon Phantom [8] . He was again hired by the Exiles to obtain the Simkarian atomic device [9] . Helped Saber to fight with a failed subway robot [10] . He became one of 142 registered superheroes [11] . Now studying at the Avengers Academy. [12]
Another Missile Racer
The second Missile Racer appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 2) # 13 (January 2000). He was hired by an unnamed employer in order to be friends with Robert Farrell and steal his equipment. He did so and was “friends” with Farrell for several months. When Farrell finally showed him where he stored the equipment, the traitor tied and abducted him, waiting for Spider-Man to fight him, but when a random restaurant employee opened the door at the wrong time and noticed the villain, he knocked him out [13] . He was a member of the Gravestone criminals team along with Big Ben and the Hypnotist.

- Robert Farrell as an antihero appeared in the 1994 Spider-Man cartoon.
- In the animated series " Spider-Man " in 2003, a Turbo Jet character appeared, based in part on the Rocket Racer.
