Opinions and criticism

S. Turov in the magazine “ Hunting and Hunting ” (No. 11, 1974) wrote: “He has come a long way, we call Alexei Nikanorovich the patriarch of the Russian animalistic movement in the visual arts. It is remarkable that, despite his advanced age, he retained firmness in drawing and coloring in painting. His talent is diverse and wide, you are convinced of this by mentally casting a glance at Komarov’s work from the first years of his work. ”
