Biography
Orthodox.
He graduated from the 2nd Cadet Corps (1882) and the Nikolaev Engineering School (1885), from where he was released as a second lieutenant in the 12th Velikolutsk Infantry Regiment with a secondment to the Life Guards Moscow Regiment . In 1886 he was transferred to the Life Guards Moscow Regiment with the rank of second lieutenant.
Ranks: lieutenant (1891), staff captain (art. 6.12.1897), captain (1900), colonel (art. 6.12.1907), major general (1915).
On October 8, 1913 he was appointed commander of the 94th Yenisei Infantry Regiment , with whom he entered the First World War . He was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree

On February 7, 1917, he was appointed commander of the 170th Infantry Division. On August 6, 1917, he was included in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Moscow military district, and on October 1, 1917 he was appointed commander of the 1st Grenadier Division .
After the revolution, he remained in the USSR. By 1931, unemployed in Leningrad, he was repressed in the Vesna case along with other Muscovite officers.
