He played for the Maikop Urozhay , Kuban Krasnodar and the Moscow Torpedo (one of the club's record holders in the number of matches held), captain in 1975-1976. He was the director of the torpedo school. Graduate of the Graduate School of Trainers (1981). In 1987 he led the youth team football players to the title of European champions. In the 1990s, he headed the Olympic and youth teams of Russia , was a member of the coaching staff of the national team .
