Euroregion "Pomerania" ( German: Euroregion Pomerania ) - Euroregion in northwestern Poland , northeastern Germany and southwestern Sweden .
The Euroregion was created on December 15, 1995, initially in Poland and Germany. On February 26, 1998, Sweden joined him. The Euroregion includes some areas of the German lands Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg , the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Swedish province of Skåne .
The area of the Euroregion is more than 49 thousand km²; the population is about 3.9 million people [1] .
