Irina Georgyevna Tigranova ( armenian Իրինա Գևորգի նրանյան ; March 19, 1936 , Leningrad - March 17, 2011 , Yerevan ) - Soviet and Armenian musicologist , professor of the Yerevan State Conservatory , daughter Georgy Tigranov , wife of the People's Artist of the USSR, composer Avet Tereterna , researcher Aveta Terterna , investigator works of Aram Khachaturian .

Content

Biography

Since 1959, she worked as a lecturer at the Armenian Philharmonic.

In 1960 she graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory in piano.

In 1961 she graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory with a degree in music theory.

In 1969 she graduated from the graduate school of the Institute of Arts of the Academy of Sciences of Armenia.

Since 1969, she taught at the Yerevan State Conservatory.

In 1970 she defended her thesis on the theme “Creativity of A. Khachaturian”.

She delivered reports and reports in Moscow , Leningrad, Kiev , Tbilisi , Baku , Yekaterinburg and other cities.

She was buried in Yerevan at the Tokhmakh cemetery near the grave of her husband.
