Nikolai Alexandrovich Orlovsky (1870 — not earlier than 1917) - Russian journalist, translator, writer, publisher, entrepreneur.

Together with his brother Peter, he owned a bicycle and sporting goods store in St. Petersburg , in which the brothers published the magazine “Scooter” (later “ Automotive Business ”; 1894-1910). Both the store and the magazine the brothers inherited from their father, Alexander Ivanovich Orlovsky.
He published books on the popularization of sports and technology, the design of a car and an airplane , including in his own translations and with his additions.
He is the author of the humorous sci-fi novel “Modern Mühlhausen: The Adventures of a Scooter in the Land of Wheels” (1903), which describes a fictional island country that has undergone universal “cycling”.
