The Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Association (PIMCU) is the city-forming enterprise of the city of Krasnokamensk , the largest in Russia and one of the largest uranium mining enterprises in the world, the largest diversified mining enterprise of the Trans - Baikal Territory . It conducts mining of uranium by the mine method at 16 uranium and molybdenum- uranium deposits of the Streltsovskoy ore field (proven reserves - 244 thousand tons). History
In 1968, by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, on the basis of the uranium and molybdenum-uranium deposits of the Streltsovskoy ore field discovered in 1963, it was decided to create the Priargunsky mining and chemical plant.
Steel Sergeevich Pokrovsky was appointed the first director of the plant.

The raw material base is the Streltsov group of uranium and molybdenum - uranium deposits in the southeast of the Transbaikal Territory . The reserves of the deposit are about 50,000 tons of uranium . Reserves of the Urtuysky coal deposit - 90 million tons.

Composition of shareholders and the Board of Directors
The main shareholder of PIMCU is ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. , which owns about 89% of the shares .
A total of 1,603,847 ordinary shares and 414,616 preferred shares were issued.
The board of directors of PJSC Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Association, part of Atomredmetzoloto, ARMZ) recommended that shareholders at the annual meeting on June 27 decide not to pay dividends for 2017, the company said . It is proposed to direct all net profit in the amount of 6.8 million rubles to repay the loss accumulated in previous periods. In addition to the distribution of profits, shareholders at the annual meeting will have to approve the annual report, financial statements, determine the quantitative composition of the board of directors and elect its members, approve the auditor for 2017 and elect the audit committee.
