Life and career
Catherine Ann Podvell was born in Evanston, Illinois, and studied at the University of California and at the same time appeared on the theatrical scene [1] .
Podvell achieved the greatest success due to the role of Callie Harper Ewing in the television series " Dallas ", where she starred from 1988 to 1991, up to the final of the show. She also starred in the movie “ Night of the Demons ” in 1988 and appeared in the TV series “ She wrote Murder ,” “ Beverly Hills, 90210 ” and “ Steep Walker: Texas Tech Justice .” Dive left the screens in the mid-nineties to concentrate on raising her two children [2] . In 2013, she briefly returned to her role as Callie Harper Ewing in the episode of JR's Masterpiece of an updated version of the Dallas television series [3] .
