Biography
Rees married Gwerful Ferg Meilgun, who was the great granddaughter of Cadwallon Mayianides .
Rhys Windod became Lord of Dinevura in 1271 after the death of his father. In 1277, Rhys Vindod and his relative Rhys ap Maredid became vassals of Edward I of England. In 1282, Llywelyn was treacherously murdered. After that, his brother David became Prince of Gwynedd, but Edward, to prevent Rise Dinevursky and Rhys Drisluinsky from joining the revolt on David's side, gave them new lands, but after David was captured and executed, both Rice lost all of their possessions. Rhys became disillusioned with Edward and, in alliance with another Rhys, they began a new uprising against Edward, but in the very first battle in 1284, Rhys Windod died. He was succeeded by his son Madog .
