Content

Geography

The municipality is located in the southwestern part of the western zone of Adyge-Khablsky district . The settlement consists of four settlements.

The area of ​​the rural settlement is - 43.8 km 2 .

It borders on the lands of municipalities: Ersakon rural settlement in the northeast, Staro-Kuva rural settlement in the east, Wako-Zhilevsky rural settlement in the southeast, as well as the lands of the Otradnensky district of the Krasnodar Territory in the west.

The territory of the Grushkinsky rural settlement is located in the foothill forest-steppe zone of the republic. The terrain is mostly hilly terrain with wavy plains. The average altitude in the rural settlement is 609 meters above sea level.

The soil cover is extremely diverse. Pre-Caucasian and foothill chernozems are developed. Floodplain meadow soils in floodplains.

The hydrographic network is represented by the rivers Big Shcheblonok and Maly Shcheblonok .

The climate is moderately warm. The average annual air temperature is positive and is about + 8 ° C. The average July temperature is + 22 ° С, the average January temperature is –6 ° С. The maximum temperature can reach + 40 ° C, the minimum can drop to -32 ° C. The growing season is 210 days. The average annual rainfall is about 600 mm per year. Most of them are from April to June. In winter and spring, east and northeast winds often prevail, reaching speeds of 20-30 m / s.

History

Until 1953, the Grushkinsky Village Council was part of the Kuva district of the Cherkess Autonomous Region .

In 1953, with the abolition of the Kuva district, the village council was transferred to the Ikon-Khalka region.

In 1957, the village council was transferred to the Adyge-Khablsky District of the Karachay-Cherkess Autonomous Region.

The boundaries and status of the rural settlement are established by the Law of Karachay-Cherkessia dated April 18, 2008 No. 27-РЗ - “On Establishing the Borders of Municipalities in the Adyge-Khabl Municipal District” [2] .

Economy

The main economic specialization of the municipality is agriculture and livestock. Crop production is dominated by crops. Potatoes and open field vegetables are also grown.

In cattle breeding, cattle products predominate - meat and milk.
