Heather Hemmens ( born Heather Hemmens ; born July 10, 1988 ) [2] is an American actress and producer who gained fame for her role as Alice Wendura in the youth sports drama Hellcats.

Biography and personal life
The mother of the actress is Costa Rican , and her father is European [3] [4] . Together with two older brothers and an older sister, she grew up in a remote house in the forests of Waldo, Maine - the house was supplied with electricity, heated with wood, there was no running water in it [5] . She attended Mount View High School in Thorndike, Maine, before receiving a scholarship at the Walnut Hill School of Art near Boston, where she studied for the past two years [5] . After leaving school she moved to Los Angeles to engage in acting [2] .
She has a black belt in martial arts, as well as an actress marksman [6] . Her sister, Natalie Hemmens, is the designer of handbags, and her brother is the jazz musician Jason Hemmens. Currently lives in Los Angeles [2] .
Career
In 2010, the actress got the role of Alice Verdura in the series “ Hellish Cats ” of The CW channel - a sports drama about the cheerleader team, produced by actor Tom Welling [7] . The actress also shot and starred in the short films Perils of an Active Mind and Designated, which were released in 2010 [3] .
