It is located 17 km southeast of the regional center - the village of Zelenchukskaya .

It forms the municipality of Khasaut-Greek rural settlement as the only settlement in its composition.

History

In 1864, 10 Greek families were allowed by the authorities of Stavropol to resettle in the Elbrus district of the Kuban region on the Khasaut River. Archives report: "On March 8, 1869, 22 Greek families moved from Nokhut of Pyatigorsk Uyezd to the highland zone of the Kuban region." The resulting village of Khasaut - Greek became part of the Batalpashi department of the Kuban region. In 1873, 137 people lived here in 25 yards. In 1875, through the efforts of the residents of Khasaut, a church was erected in the village in honor of St. Dmitry.
