Although Pentagram is an example of the so-called “raw” black metal , many well-known music critics have noted the influence of punk rock and hardcore on the album [1] .
It is also worth noting that the song “(Under) The Pagan Megalith” is a re-recording of the same name track from the very first release of the group - the Sorcery Written in Blood demo, and the song “Ritual” is nothing more than a modified version of the song “Sexual Bloodgargling” from the same demo. [2] .
