The flag was approved on January 20, 2012 by the decision of the Council of the Poputnensky rural settlement No. 171 [1] and entered in the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 7492.
Description
"A rectangular panel with a 2: 3 ratio of width to length, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the Poputnensky rural settlement of Otradnensky district in blue (green), green, red, yellow and white colors."
The heraldic description of the coat of arms reads: “ In a crossed green and azure field there is a golden inscribed cross with broadened ends; in the center, above all, is scarlet with a black core on a green stem with green leaves in gold and golden in azure blueflower flower, followed by gold: at the top is scarlet with petal rays (without face) the sun; below - a scarlet fountain with four jets . ” [2]
Justification of Symbols
The flag in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, cultural and economic features of the rural settlement.
The village of Poputnaya was founded in 1856. The first settlers were the Cossacks of the Caucasian Linear Forces and partially the descendants of the Cossacks from Little Russia . The Cossacks of the village of Pashutnaya always served with honor to protect their native land, showing courage and courage, which is allegorically reflected in the image of a yellow cross with widened edges - a symbol of courage, merit, valor, respect and honor.
Yellow color symbolizes greatness, wealth and prosperity, strength, and also speaks of fidelity, glory and merit of the inhabitants of the rural settlement. Yellow color also allegorically indicates the wheat fields of the settlement, which is located in the southern part of the Krasnodar Territory.
The image of the adonis flower is a single element of the flags of the settlements of the Otradnensky district, allegorically indicating the most beautiful places and the presence of the rarest flora in the entire region, including the Poputnensky rural settlement.
The image of the flaming sun indicates that most of the days of the year in the settlement are sunny. The sun is a symbol of light, heat, the source of life on earth.
The image of the fountain symbolizes life. The red color of the fountain allegorically indicates geothermal sources that are actively being developed in the settlement for economic and medicinal purposes. Red color is a symbol of beauty, work and celebration.
Green is a symbol of fertility, mountains and forests, natural abundance, tranquility, health and perpetual renewal, and allegorically indicates crop production and animal husbandry developed in the settlement.
Blue (blue) color symbolizes impeccability, virtues, clear skies, will, faith, honor, sincerity, elevated aspirations, and also allegorically indicates the rivers Urup and Bey-Murza Chekhrak flowing through the settlement.
