Hénin-Beaumont ( fr. Hénin-Beaumont ) - a commune in France , O-de-France region , Pas-de-Calais department , Lens district, Hénin-Bomon-1 cantons and Hénin-Bomon-2 , 9 km to the east from Lance and 25 km south of Lille , 1 km from the intersection of the A1 "Nor" and A21 "Rokad Minier" highways. It originated in 1971 as a result of the merger of the communes of Hénin-Liétard and Beaumont-en-Artois ( Beaumont-en-Artois ).
