Club career

The pupil " Tukums 2000 ". First coach: Artyoms Grudsins. He played the position of the attacker. In the club from his hometown Kristap began his professional career .

In 2003, a young player was taken to Skonto . In the same year, he made his debut in the team, and in total that season, Blank spent eighteen matches and scored six goals, and won the first Latvian title. The following season, Kristap played 23 matches and scored 4 goals and again became the champion of Latvia. The next such title he won in six years, in 2010.

Because of the injury, Kristaps stopped falling into the main squad of the people of Riga and was looking for another club [1] . In the 2015 and 2016 seasons, he played for the Caramba / Dynamo club from Riga.

In August 2017, he announced the completion of his top-level career due to a meniscus injury, which he received in 2016, after which he underwent a difficult operation, and rehabilitation did not go as planned [2] .

International Career

Kristaps made his debut for the national team on July 5, 2003 in a match against the national team of Estonia . At the moment, he spent twenty-one matches for the national team (as well as an informal game with the national team of Andalusia [3] ) and did not score a single goal .
