Biography
Born July 9, 1957 in the mountains of Altai, in the town of Ridder .
In the 9th grade, he became a member of the Horoscope group, having received the Grand Prix at the Vostok jazz-rock music festival. For the first time he hit the "big" stage in 1977 as a guitarist and soloist of the " Integral " band (led by Bari Alibasov ). After serving in the army, in 1980, he entered the Ust-Kamenogorsk School of Music, a classical guitar department, which he successfully graduated from in absentia in 1985. Before college he passed exams at the music school as an external student and received a certificate of graduation (also in the class of guitar). In 1992 he released the magneto album “Russian Soul”, and the next year - the album “I’m a Janitor” [1] .
He recorded 7 albums, some songs were recorded in collaboration with Nikita Dzhigurda . Songs of Glory Bobkov “Taxi is a green light”, “Convoy” and “Boarding a flight” were performed by Mikhail Shufutinsky [2] . He participated in a concert-festival held on April 16, 2002 in the Kremlin, where he became a laureate of the “ Chanson of the Year National Award” [3] . In 2008, the “Remelted to Bell” DVD was released. From 2008 to 2009 he took part in the project "Chanson of two cultures in Paris".
Died April 3, 2012 at the age of 54 from cancer. For a long time he struggled with the disease, but this did not bring the desired result - the singer died in the clinical hospital of St. Petersburg, Russian Academy of Sciences, in which he was treated for five months. He was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery in Moscow.
