Biography
In 1922–25 he studied at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of singing under the guidance of G. P. Gandolfi, then in 1928 he improved in Germany. He was a soloist of the Opera Theaters of Kharkov (1926–1933) and Sverdlovsk (1933–1935).
From 1935 to 1948 - soloist of the Leningrad State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after SM Kirov .
Creativity
In his work he implemented the best traditions of Russian vocal-performing school. Lyric tenor . He had a light, bright voice of warm timbre, purity of intonation, expressiveness of phrasing.

Among the parties performed by N. Sereda are Lohengrin (“ Lohengrin ” by R. Wagner ), Alfred (“ La Traviata ” by Verdi ), Lensky (“ Eugene Onegin ” by Tchaikovsky ), Levko (“ May Night ” by Rimsky-Korsakov ), Andrei (“ Taras Bulba ” Lysenko ), Vladimir Dubrovsky (“ Dubrovsky ”), Faust , Werther (“ Werther ” Massne ), Salavat (“ Emelyan Pugachev ”Koval) and others.
He also performed as a chamber singer, performed Ukrainian folk songs in concerts with particular success.
He died in Leningrad and was buried at the Volkovsky Lutheran cemetery .
