Nedreos, Turborg

Born in a family official. Having been educated, since 1923 she worked in Bergen as a music teacher. Later, she moved to Leirvik , Hordaland county . Leirvik, which she had visited several times in her childhood, is the site of a number of her works. The writer published her first book, a collection of short stories Før det ringer tredje gang , only in 1945. Since 1947, T. Nedreos lives as a freelance writer in the town of Nesodden near Oslo. In addition to literary creativity, she also collaborates with television. According to her novel Av Måneskinn gror det ingenting (nothing grows in the moonlight) in 1987, the director Arild Brinkman made a feature film.

In his writings, T. Nedreos repeatedly touches on such topics as class inequality, the position of women in modern society, adolescent issues, issues of poverty and war. Such writers as Balzac , Maxim Gorky , A. Kjellan had a great influence on her prose.
