In early 1945, due to the deteriorating situation on the fronts, he tried to move to Japan, but died in a plane crash near Taiwan on August 18, 1945. The circumstances of the death of Subhas Chandra Bose are still unclear. Indian researchers could not find the debris of the Bose plane, which caused conspiracy theories about his future fate.
