Content
Story
The cashier of the insurance bureau Pan Anatol Kowalski has his own eccentricities. For example, he is unable to part with his old hat, which everyone around is already laughing at. However, the day is coming when pan Anatole is forced to buy a new hat. He managed to buy a very beautiful hat, but from that moment strange things began to happen to Pan Anatole: street thugs began to treat him with extraordinary reverence, and strange watches and jewelry began to appear in obscure manner in Pan Anatol's pockets. The doctor makes a diagnosis of kleptomania , Mrs. Kowalska suspects adultery, and the police begin an investigation in the case of an amazing hat.
