Biography

Philip Barry Tomlinson was born in 1932 [1] .

From 1949 to 1955, Tomlinson studied at Leeds University . In 1953, he received a bachelor's degree there. In 1955, Tomlinson received his Ph.D. From 1960 to 1971, he was a research fellow at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden , USA. From 1971 to 2001, he was a professor of biology at Harvard University .
