The adults are 6–8 mm long [2] . Abdomen , legs and tarsi red. Beetles are characterized by the following features:
- posterior angles of pronotum obtuse, but distinct;
- first segment of tarsi shorter than three subsequent combined and upper spurs of hind tibia .
