The Presidents of the United States of America is the debut album of the American post-grunge band The Presidents of the United States of America , released in the USA by PopLlama in 1995 . Columbia Records entered into an agreement with the group shortly after the release of the album for further distribution .

4 singles were released: “Kitty”, “Lump”, “Peaches” and “Dune Buggy” - which helped the group gain some popularity. The album received positive reviews and today has a triple platinum status in America [4] [5] . “Strange Al” Jankovic filmed a clip-parody of “Lump” and called it “ Gump ” [6] .
In 2004, the album was reissued on the band's label in CD + DVD format.
Lump is available in the Rock Band 2 video game (Ladybug, Feather Pluck'n, and Dune Buggy as additional content).
