Pilvo [2] - a river on the island of Sakhalin , flows through the territory of the Okhotsk city district [3] . It originates from the mountain massif south of the Verkhnyaya Valovskaya mountain on the Schmidt Peninsula . The total length of the river is 36 km, its catchment area is 250 km² [4] . The general direction of the river from north-east to south-west flows into the Sakhalin Gulf .
