Kokur dessert Surozh - a vintage white dessert wine , produced in the Crimea since 1945 [1] . It is made by the enterprises Alushta , Sudak , Veselovskoye (combined with Morskoye ), which are part of the Massandra plant [2] .
The wine is made according to the technology of dessert wines from the white Kokur grape variety. This variety, brought to Crimea by the ancient Greeks , grows in the Alushta Valley in the vicinity of Mount Chatyr-Dag ( Southern Coast of Crimea ) and in the Sudak Valley. Due to the climatic features of the coastal areas of the peninsula, grapes gain a mass fraction of sugar of at least 22%.
Characteristics of the wine: alcohol - 16%, sugar - 16 g / 100 cubic meters. cm, titratable acid - 4-7 g / cu. dm. The wine is aged 2 years. The color is gold and amber. Bouquet with honey and floral shades [1] [3] .
At international competitions, wine was awarded the following: Grand Prix Cup (at the International Competition "Yalta. Golden Griffin 2012" [4] ), 8 gold (awarded with gold medals at the "Second International Competition of Grape Wines and Cognac" in Yalta in 1970 [5 ] , at international competitions: "Yalta. Golden Griffin 2005" and "Yalta. Golden Griffin 2007" [6] [7] ) and 2 silver medals. Among them are awards at the competitions: “ Ljubljana ” ( 1957 ), “ Brussels ” ( 1958 ), “ Hungary ” (1958 and 1960 ) [8] [9] [10] [11] .
