Borale Ali is a stratovolcano . Its height reaches 668 meters. It is a complex volcano . Consists of silicon rocks. It is located near the Erta Ale volcano and depends on its volcanic activity. The earliest activity of the volcano began at a time when this area was under water, this can be seen from the Quaternary marine sediments in the volcano area. Strong active fumarole activity is observed in the crater of the volcano, whose radius is 300 meters. The frozen silicon lava flows reach a distance of 5 kilometers.
