Dracolimni ( Greek Δρακολίμνη ) is the name of several alpine-type lakes in Greece: on the slopes of Timfi and Zmolikas .

According to the stories of local residents, in ancient times this area was inhabited by dragons who fought with each other, throwing pines and rocks; in this way a peculiar landscape was created, and the lake was called Dracolimni, which in Greek means Dragon Lake .
Dracolimini on Timfi is located at an altitude of more than 2000 m, the maximum depth of the lake is 4.95 m, and its surface covers 1 ha [1] . Drakomilni on Zmolikas is located on the western slope of the ridge. Mount Zmolikas is located a few kilometers from Timfi , they are separated from each other by the river Aoos .
Lake Dracolimni is part of the Vikos Aoos Greek National Park.
