Abune-Yosef ( Amh . አቡና ዮሴፍ ) is a mountain in Ethiopia , the highest point in the springs is 4200 m [1] , on the map 4301 m above sea level [2] . Located on the north-eastern slopes of the Ethiopian Highlands near the city of Lalibela .

The mountain is famous for the rocky church Paradise of Mary ( ገነተ ማርያም , Ghenete Maryam), according to tradition created in the XIII century, during the reign of Yekuno Amlaka [3] .
