Socket 4 is a processor socket for installing Intel Pentium processors of the first generation ( models based on the P5 core with a frequency of 60 and 66 MHz). The provided supply voltage is 5 V. The number of contacts is 273, arranged in the form of a 21 × 21 matrix, in 0.1 ”increments, in 4 rows. This socket also supports Pentium OverDrive processors with an internal bus frequency doubling circuit and thus working , at frequencies of 120 and 133 MHz.
