Waldkraiburg ( German: Waldkraiburg ) is a city in Bavaria ( Germany ), in the district of Mühldorf am Inn . The population is about 24,000 people ( Germans , Turks , immigrants from the former USSR , as well as ethnic Germans from Romania, who actually founded the city). Here the famous singer in Germany Peter Muffay grew up ( German: Peter Maffay ). The city is located on the Inn River, about 10 km from Muhldorf and 60 km from Munich .
