Botanical Reserves
- Alekseevsky district
- Chalk mountain. The reserve is located at the entrance to the city of Alekseevka from the side of the Experimental Station and occupies the slope of the Cretaceous outcrops. Yields of carbonate rocks with a calcite steppe growing on them. Rare species of calcephilic plants of the Red Book of the Russian Federation are found ( scented sculiforum , white dairy Dubrovnik , chalk ivoryanka , etc.). The total area is 10 ha.
- Reference plantation (genetic reserve) of English oak in blocks No. 61.62 of the integrated forest fund of the Alekseevskoye lesnichestvo OKU. Located in the area of the tract Kordon Kazenny (Gorodische forestry). It is also known as Ship oak forest, an old-growth plantation of pedunculate oak over 100 years old. Total area - 127.0 ha.
