Port red Livadia - vintage red strong wine. The only manufacturer - GK NPAO Massandra in the Crimea [1] .

Content

History

The wine has been produced since 1891 . This brand of wine was still in the wine cellars of Emperor Nicholas II . It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety, which grows on the southern coast of Crimea . Only grapes containing a mass fraction of sugar of 22% are used. Grapes grow mainly on slate soils.

Characteristics of the wine: alcohol content of 18.5%, sugar 8 g / 100 cubic meters. cm, titratable acids 4-6 g / cu. dm. Color saturated garnet. Bouquet with morocco tones. Taste with hints of cherry pit. The wine is aged 3 years [2] [3] .

The wine is produced by the Livadia State Enterprise, which is part of the Massandra Non-Commercial Partnership GC [4] . Previously, wine was produced under the brand name: "Livadia No. 80" [3] [5] .

Rewards

At international competitions wine was awarded: 3 gold and 5 silver medals. Among them are awards at competitions: “Ljubljana” ( 1955 ), “ Brussels ” ( 1958 ), “ Hungary ” (1958) [1] [5] [6] [7] .
