Geography
Located on the northern slopes of the Przhevalsky ridge, on the left bank of the river Ilistaya . Height above sea level 144 m.
The village is located on the highway, which runs south from the Osinovka-Rudnaya Pristan highway in the village of Ivanovka , 8 km from Ivanovka, and 49 km from the Mikhaylovka district center.
To the south from Nikolaevka there is a road to the village of Otradnoye and further to the village of Polyudobnoe of the Shkotovo district .
History
The village of Nikolaevka was founded in 1883 [2] by settlers from the Chernihiv province of Surazh district . On April 13, 1883, in the port of Vladivostok , after a 40-day sea crossing, the ship “Russia” with 733 passengers aboard dropped. On April 30, following the “Russia”, the steamship “ Petersburg ” moored with another 810 passengers, 171 of whom were from Surazh district of the Chernihiv province. Nikolayevka was part of the Mikhailovsky volost of the Primorsky region of the Amur Governor-General . From August 1923 as part of the Primorsky Province of the Far Eastern Region (extended Mikhailovskaya Volost), since 1926 - in the Mikhailovsky District.
