Geographical position
The village of Syreika is located on both banks of the Padovka River. Different coasts are connected by two automobile and one pedestrian bridges.

History
The village was founded in the middle of the 18th century and was settled by people from the Penza and Ryazan regions [2] .
At the beginning of its history, the village was divided into three parts: Tyurin order, Danish order and Drunken street.
In 1928, the collective farm "Lenin Banner" was formed in the village of Syreika.
Currently, the village is actively developing. An ostrich farm is operating in the village, and a plaster stone quarry is planned to open [3] .

School
In 1865, a parish school opened in Syriyek. In 1874, a zemstvo school was opened under the guardianship of V. K Romadanovsky, a member of the provincial Samara council, whose estate was not far from the village. In 1958, an extension was made to the old building of the parish school. In 1969 a building was built for a new school. Since 1976, the school has become secondary [5] .
Transport
The only shuttle bus number 732 runs in the village, uniting such settlements as the villages: Buzaevka , Chubovka , Syreika, Alekseyevka , cities: Kinel and Samara [6] .
Religious buildings
In 1871, a church was built in the name of Dmitry Solunsky, which burned three times and was rebuilt again.
