Kevin Reynolds ( born Kevin Reynolds ; born July 23, 1990 ) is a Canadian skater who performs in men's single skating . Champion of four continents (2013) , multiple silver (2012–2014, 2017) and bronze (2010) medalist of the Canadian championships , bronze medalist of the championship of four continents in 2010 . Known for mastering difficult jumps and performing two quadruple jumps in a short program.

Biography
Kevin Reynolds was born in North Vancouver ( British Columbia ). Currently lives in Coquitlam , where he lived with his brother Ryan.
Reynolds started skating at 5 years old, from 9 years old he trained with Joan MacLeod. In 2001, Kevin won the Canadian Championship at the Juvenile level, in 2003 - the Canadian Championship at the Novice level. The following year, he took fourth place in the junior championship of Canada and was selected in the junior team of Canada. He played at the junior stage of the Grand Prix , where he took fifth place. In 2005, at the junior championship of Canada took second place. Since 2006, he began to participate in adult tournaments. At the Canadian Championship 2006 took 9th place, in 2007 - eleventh. In the 2006-07 season he won the junior Grand Prix stage in Mexico, in Taipei took second place. In the final of the junior Grand Prix took third place. The first podium at the national championship came in 2010, Kevin Reynolds took 3rd place. In the same year he went to the 2010 World Cup , where he took 11th place. In 2011, he took fourth place in the Canadian Championship and 20th place in the World Cup . In the 2011-12 season he performed at the Grand Prix in China , where he took 7th place. At the Grand Prix stage in France, he starred in a free program. He won silver at the Canadian Championship, took 8th place in the championship of four continents and 12th place in the world championship .
After the 2014/2015 Olympic season, he missed, speaking only in October 2014 at the home tournament in Barry , where he closed six [2] .
At the end of April 2015, he underwent surgery [3] . In January 2016, he took third place at the national championship . A month later, he performed at the continental championship , where he was below the tens line [4] .
The Canadian skater began the new pre-Olympic season at the Nepel Memorial in Slovakia , after a short program he walked in second place, but did not quite successfully skate the free program, and as a result remained in second place [5] . At the end of October, the Canadian skater performed at the Mississauga Grand Prix home stage , where he took third place at the Canadian Federation Cup [6] . At the end of January, the next national championship was held in Ottawa , where Kevin confidently finished second [7] . In February, the skater performed in Gangneung in the continental championship , which he completed in the middle of the standings [8] . At the end of March, he performed at the World Championships in Helsinki , where the skater managed to take a place in the top ten [9] . At the same time, he contributed to his country getting two places at the upcoming Olympics in South Korea and improved his previous sports achievements in total. Three weeks after this, the skater was sent to the team world championship , where he performed very unsuccessfully, gaining one of the least points [10] [11] .
In early October, he began a new Olympic season in Espoo , on the Trophy of Finland , where he finished in the top ten. A month later, the skater spoke at the Chinese stage of the Grand Prix series in Beijing, where he finished in the middle of the table [12] . At the end of November, at the American stage in Lake Placid, he finished in the middle of the standings [13] . At the beginning of 2018, he did not perform very well at the national championship, becoming only the fifth [14] . Considering that between the four continents championship and the Olympic Games, the Canadian Federation sent the second squad to the continental championship and Reynolds was an outsider. However, there , in Taipei, he performed better than all Canadians and finished in the middle of the top ten of the best lone skaters.
