Biography

Khakim Zaripov was born on September 17, 1924 in Tashkent (now in Uzbekistan ) in the family of the founder of the dynasty of circus artists Karim Zaripov [1] .

He began circus activities in 1938 as a horseman in the ensemble “Uzbekistan Horsemen” under the leadership of his father Karim Zaripov. From 1952 to 2006 he headed this team [2] .

He toured with the ensemble in many cities of the USSR and abroad: Bulgaria , Poland , Czechoslovakia , GDR , Romania , Mongolia , Hungary , Finland .

He graduated from the Tashkent Music School. R. Gliera (now the Republican Special Music Academic Lyceum named after R. Gliere ), then the conducting department (symphony department) of the Tashkent Conservatory (now the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan ) [3] .

He worked as artistic director of circus groups, programs, director of various circuses. Co-author of projects of new circus structures.

He brought up many circus artists.

Currently continues to work. He recreated the new group “Djigits of Uzbekistan”, engaged in the training of horses [4] .
