Water Information Center (Water Museum) is an information center in Kiev created by the Kiev City State Administration with the support of the Danish Ministry of Leisure on May 24, 2003 in the restored buildings of the first Kiev centralized water supply, built in 1872–1876 by the design of architect Alexander Schiele .

The tower, which is the entrance to the institution, was built in 1876 and reconstructed in 2003 according to the original drawings with the restoration of the fire tower. The neighboring tower, dismantled in 1939–40, was also restored according to ancient drawings.
Exposure
The main exhibition is located in the premises of the former underground clean water reservoir, built in 1909. The author of the exhibition is a designer from Denmark, Carston Moller.
Inspection of the exposition makes it possible in an unconventional form to get acquainted with the water, water treatment process, methods of rational use of water in everyday life, to travel through the sewage collector to the sewage treatment plant of Bortnitsa aeration station .
It also tells about the history of the creation of a centralized water supply system in the city, opened on March 1, 1872, and about the history of the water supply system of the city as a whole, which has worked on Podol since at least 1636 . Presented authentic exhibits XVIII-XIX centuries.
In the museum you can watch the melting of glaciers , the beginning of rain and the eruption of geysers . You can change the river bed on the layout, have fun with large soap bubbles, check the strength of the water pump, and get acquainted with live fish - Japanese carp .
