Biography

Viktor Khokhryakov was born on July 13 (26), 1913 in Ufa .
In 1921-1929 he studied at a nine-year school in Ufa, at the same time, from 1921-1926, he studied at the Ufa City Theater as a student of a prop and props.
In 1926-1927, he was the head of the drama circle and artist of the Gray Blouse collective at the House of Education Workers in Ufa. In 1929, he was an artist of the auxiliary staff of the Bashkir Theater of TsSPS and at the same time accountant of the Churaevsky Nesting Association of Seed-Growing Collective Farms ( Birsky canton of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic) [3] .
In 1929-1933 he studied at the Leningrad College of Performing Arts (now the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts ) (teacher N.V. Petrov ).
In 1933-1940 he was an actor in the Kharkov Russian Drama Theater , in 1940-1953 - the Central Transport Theater in Moscow (now the Moscow Drama Theater named after N.V. Gogol ).
In 1953-1960 and from 1962 until the end of his life, he was an actor and director of the Maly Theater .
In 1960-1962 , he was an actor at the Actor's Studio at Mosfilm (now the State Theater of the Film Actor ) [4] .
In Kharkov, he became known as a reader on the stage. He worked a lot on the radio, took part in dubbing foreign films.
He began acting in films since 1946.
In 1974-1975 he taught at the Higher Theater School (Institute). M. S. Shchepkina at the Maly Theater of the USSR (artistic director of the Kyrgyz Studio).
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1939 .
Viktor Ivanovich Khokhryakov died on September 20, 1986 in Moscow. He was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery [5] .
