Vices was planning to fly to New York , but he needed money, and one day, after an unexpected meeting with former Sex Pistols member Glen Matlock , they decided to play a concert together. Matlock, who Vices replaced in the Sex Pistols , later said that he saw the opportunity to “ show that there was no hostility between us ”. In addition to Matlock and Vicious, the group included guitarist from The Rich Kids Steve New and drummer from The Damned Rat Scabis .
The concert has been recorded many times: in 1991 on DeLorean Records , in 1993 on Receiver Records , in 2002 on Castle Records , and in 2007 on Sanctuary Records . The 2007 release included interviews with Matlock and Scabbis .
