About the magazine

The print magazine “Art Gallery” was published once a week in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008. Printed in Poland. Distributed through the Burda Publishing House and the Rospechat network of kiosks. The volume of the magazine is 32 pages. ISBN 0-7489-7465-2 (series), ISBN 0-7489-2358-6 . The collection of 2004-2008 released 200 numbers.

In August 2013, the collection was restarted. The series comes out as before, with minor additions. The order of the numbers is changed. The room is completed with a small reproduction in a frame. The 2013 collection announced 60 numbers.

Contents

The issue was dedicated entirely to one of the famous artists and talked about important events of his life and work. Illustrations of the best works of the artist with comments on each work were given. In the course of the presentation of the material, additional information was given about the directions and basic concepts in painting.

Permanent columns: “Life and era”, which described the artist’s biography, stages of his career, events and personalities that influenced his work, “Famous works” and “Masterpiece” - the most famous works of the artist with a brief description, “Style and technique” , "Art Gallery" and "World Museums" - a story about the history of the creation of the museum, one way or another connected with the artist. “Recreating the artist’s work” - the modern artist is trying to recreate a fragment of the master’s painting, explaining how the masterpiece was created.
