Greene County is a county located in Ohio , USA . The administrative center is the city of Zinha . Got its name in honor of the American General Nathaniel Green .

History
Green County was founded on May 1, 1803 .
Population
According to the 2010 US Census , the county has a population of 161,573 people, consisting of 61,825 households and 39,160 families . The population increased by 9.3 % compared to 2000 , when 147,886 people lived in the okrug [2] .
The population density is 138 people per km². There are 58 224 residential buildings in the district, with a building density of 54 buildings per km². Racial composition of the population: white - 86.4%, African - Americans - 7.2%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 0.3%, Asians - 2.9%, Hawaiians - 0.1%, representatives of other races - 0.38 %, representatives of two or more races - 1.66%. Hispanic made up 1.23% of the population.
Out of the total number of households , 32.80% are children under the age of 18, 58.00% of households are married couples living together, 9.60% of households are single women without a spouse, 29.20% of households households are not related to families, 23.00% of households consist of one person, 7.70% of households consist of elderly people (65 years and older) living alone. The average household size is 2.53 people and the average family size is 3.00 people.
The age structure of the district: 23.90% under the age of 18, 13.70% from 18 to 24, 27.00% from 25 to 44, 23.60% from 45 to 64, and 11.80% from 65 and older. The average age of a resident of the district is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 94.80 males. For every 100 females over 18 years of age, there are 91.40 males.
The average household income in the district was 48,656 USD , per family - 57,954 USD . The average earnings of a man were 42 338 USD against 28 457 USD for a woman. The per capita income was 23 057 USD . About 5.20% of families and 8.50% of the total population were below the poverty line , including 8.70% of young people (those who were not yet 18 years old) and 6.90% of those who were over 65 years old.
