On June 27, 2008, the site SourceForge.net was blocked in the PRC . On January 26, 2010, the US government blocked SourceForge.net for countries from the “black list” of the United States: Cuba, Iran, Syria, Libya, Sudan, and North Korea. The Google Code service has also been blocked. [8] .
In December 2014, President Barack Obama imposed economic sanctions on the Russian Federation in connection with the Ukrainian events of 2014 , in particular, banning American companies from doing business in the Crimea.
